Another key point you should remember is the focus of everything I write.

The first question I will always explore is precisely how your program or product helps sales and marketing people take better care of their customers. I look at things first from the perspective of the sales person, then from the perspective of sales management. Only then do I shift my focus to other points in the customer relationship continuum, examining how your product impacts marketing, customer support or e-commerce. Lastly, I look at things from the perspective of the IT professional, examining all technical details and implementation issues.
